ALBUM INFO: 

Gasoline Alley is Rod Stewart's second solo album and was released in September 1970 in the UK, and in June 1970 in the US. The album was well received, with Langdon Winner of Rolling Stone feeling that Stewart had "a rare sensitivity for the delicate moments in a person's existence", and that this, Stewart's second solo album, was the work "of a supremely fine artist". Gasoline Alley is included in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.

VISUAL GRADING:

GATEFOLD SLEEVE: 

(EX+) Considering it's age, this gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition, with no tears, splits or writing. 

EDGES/SPINE: 

The edges and spine are in excellent condition with no damage.

INNER SLEEVE: 

This is the original Vertigo inner sleeve. As you can see in the picture, the sleeve does has browning and wear due to age.

LABELS: 

Clean, no damage or writing - when held at an angle under normal house hold light, there are a couple of very faint spindle marks visible.

AUDIO GRADING:

I play all LP's on my Pioneer PL 550-X. This album plays with no pops, clicks, jumps or distortion; a fantastic listen! - the only thing to note is that there is some minor surface noise/crackle throughout each side, however this is quiet and ceases for moments at a time.

PACKAGING: 

I use preformed and standard mailers with stiffeners. I always take the vinyl out in its inner sleeve and place on top of the cover. This is then placed into a soft protective sleeve and packaged with stiffeners for full protection.
