6360 500, ‘Swirl’ Vertigo UK 1970 record labels.

A UK album in original condition, featuring:

1. original first issue UK 1970 Vertigo gatefold sleeve,

2. on the sleeve is printed, ‘Country comfort’ but on the record label this track title is printed as, ‘Country comforts’,

3. first issue UK 1970 record matrix of: 6360 500 1Y and 6360 500 2Y,

4. comes with its original ‘Philips’ associated inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent+ condition, the sleeve is free from any ‘blemishes’ and from any ‘indentations’. The spine is in excellent+ condition and has remained clean and straight and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The two opening edges of the sleeve have remained clean and sharp. There are NO splits, tears, pen writing on the sleeve. To the front top right corner there is a small sticker.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent condition and is the original period ‘Philips’ assocated inner sleeve, with the text, ‘British Patent’ and ‘Plastic bags can be dangerous’. There are NO splits, tears, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve.

THE RECORD: side one is in near MINT condition, on side one it is difficult to see any marks to the playing surface, the condition of the record has been judged under ‘normal daylight’ conditions. Side two is in excellent condition. The record is made of the original period ‘thick, heavy’ vinyl. The record has remained very dark and glossy.

The records matrix is: 6360 500 1Y 1 420 11 21 and 6360 500 2Y 1 420 11 7,

The mother / stampers are: N/A,

THE AUDIO: each side of the record plays excellent++, each side plays with excellent quiet grooves. The record lays flat on the turntable and plays with a full loud, powerful period stereo sound.

THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in excellent++ condition, each record labels looks as if they have received just a ‘few’ plays. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

TO GRADE THE CONDITION OF THE RECORD I AM USING THE OFFICIAL GRADING SYSTEM FROM THE ‘RECORD COLLECTOR’ MAGAZINE.
