** ROD STEWART & THE FACES DEBUT LP ON USA GREEN LABEL WARNER BROS - RARE EARLY PRESSING (APPROX 1971) WITH FRONT COVER CREDITED TO "SMALL FACES" AND LABELS CREDITED TO "FACES"  **

An Excellent condition disc. Shiny lustrous vinyl. Hardly any marks at all can be seen on this LP in a normal light. There are a couple of very fine hairline marks which can only be seen under a very strong light, where the record has been taken out of the sleeve over the years, and slight pressing imperfection marks, none of which cause any sound issues whatsoever. No visible spindle marks. Very clean labels on both sides. This record has been played very few times. Original STEREO mixes of both sides. No skips, jumps, warps, sticking, scratches, scuffs or writing on labels. Excellent sound quality throughout, with very little surface noise. A very listenable LP. Tested on a Thorens turntable.

Gatefold Sleeve in Very Good+ condition. Some minor general wear - mainly to corners. No creasing. No seam splits. Name written in top left of the rear sleeve. Spine in good condition, with all text still clearly legible.

Supplied in original Warner Bros. inner sleeve, which is in very good condition, but has a 6cm seam split at one edge.

GRADING:

All records are graded using the 'Record Collector' format:

MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
