Comments: I assume that just about everybody that reads this have heard Wilson Pickett’s version of this song that he brought to the charts, but there is nothing like the original, isn’t it? Collins wrote the song and his arranger Shanklin came up with an arrangement that Pickett found no reason to change. Excellent! B-side is a bouncy mid-tempo 12-bar blues with a story about justice not living up to its name.
