For sale is and extremely rare copy of Rodney And The Blazers first 45 which was released in 1960. The first single release, "Teenage Cinderella" along with "Summertime Rock" is on their first 45. The band was active as Rodney and the Blazers between 1960-1965. They toured with Bill Haley and the Comets in 1961 and then later with Jerry Lee Lewis. Their music which was Rockabilly/Rock and Roll is very rare and hard to find in their original "Kampus" label. The group was founded in Coffeyville Kansas and cut their first "Kampus" recordings in Kansas City. Not only is their recordings on the original "Kampus" label rare and hard to find, but to come across vinyl in this condition is almost impossible. The label on the "Summertime Rock" side has a price tag tear on the bottom left of the "A" of "Kampus". The other side's label condition is perfect. Under a bright light, you have to look extremely hard to find any type of surface marks. The gloss and shine is fantastic! Numbers in the dead wax is 45-KB-381-N1/ and 45-KB-382-N2. This is guaranteed original, rare vinyl in this condition is a great find for the serious vinyl collector who places scarcity and physical condition as their top criteria.
