ITEM: " Cold Fact " , by Sixto Rodriguez. Released on Sussex Records label, catalog number SXBS-7000 STEREO.
COMMENTS / CONDITION: This LP came from a private collection - it is not a beat up item bought at a yard sale. The record was visually graded, and was test played.
Grading is according to Goldmine Standards. If you are not familiar with that system, please go to the Goldmine web site and read the grading details BEFORE YOU BID.
Vinyl is in strong VG to VG+ condition, retaining a nice glossy luster. No warps, deep scratches, cracks, or chips. There are scuffs/light scratches present that do not affect the listening experience.
On my older system, both sides played quietly, with no harsh background noise, skips, or groove lock. NOTE: Sound quality will vary from system to system. The above comments are included strictly as reference, and are not a statement as to the experience you may have with your equipment.
Labels are in good, clean condition with no peeling edges, or writing. The center hole is perfectly round and shows no signs of abusive playing.
The cover is in VG condition, with moderate edge/corner wear, and rub wear/soiling from handling and storage. Seams have shelf wear/chipping, and a 1.5 inch split at the opening edge of the top seam. This is not a cut-out, no punch holes, notches, or clipped corners.
Inner sleeve is plain white paper.
I have not tried to clean the vinyl or the labels. Serious collectors usually have their own preferred methods they use to care for their records.
