Description:

  • 1970 Australian first pressing on the brown A&M label with "Sussex" label credits
  • Great blend of folk, psych, soul, funk by this now-collectable artist, recently rediscovered through the film Sugar Man.
  • Rodriguez was largely ignored in the US, but was hugely popular in South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
  • His songs explore such topics as social inequality, economic issues, street culture, relationships, and much more.
  • Lyrics to the songs are on the back side of the cover.
  • Produced by Mike Theodore and Dennis Coffey who also plays some guitar

Condition:

  • The record is in clean EXCELLENT condition with only light signs of use. The vinyl is bright and shiny and it plays great

  • Both labels are clean with moderate spindle trails 

  • The unlaminated sleeve is graded VERY GOOD+ with an area of sticker damage on the top front right corner, light shelf/ring wear and rubbing on the edges, but no split seams or other defects or damage
