Description
Up for auction is a copy of The Roger Nichols Trio’s Don’t Go Breaking My Heart, backed with Our Day Will Come, released circa 1966 on US A&M cat no 801. This is a promo copy. Produced by Tommy LiPuma, arranged by Mort Garson. Super smooth soft rock interpretations of Bacharach/David and Garson/Hilliard standards, this single absolutely defines the genre.
Condition: looks unplayed. Both labels have a partially-removed sticker.
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor), following Record Collector’s grading guidelines, with an extra + or – here & there to separate the wheat from the chaff. I never use mint as a grade for used records. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings.
