Roger Nichols And The Small Circle Of Friends LP - ROGER NICHOLS AND THE SMALL CIRCLE OF FRIENDS (A&M LP-139)

Original 1968 U.S. MONO WHITE LABEL PROMOTIONAL LP.  Revered soft pop/sunshine pop album by this trio, & this is the much harder-to-find MONOPHONIC pressing, only available as a WLP, if I'm not mistaken. The cover has multiple, serious issues due to not being treated properly, & the vinyl is PRETTY NICE, tho it too has some issues, albeit nothing as serious as the cover.  All-in-all, an okay starter copy for this not-too-common nugget.

Disc = VG+ (GLOSSY - some thin hairlines + a side long lite discoloration mark on side 1 + a couple of long, thin soft scuff marks on side 2 + tiny spot on side 2 - all NOT AFFECTING PLAY; NO scratches, NO skips, NO distortion; disc appears to have barely been played but is worse for wear mostly due to not being stored properly in inner paper sleeve; plays inconsistent - some places there is lite background pops &/or lite to moderate crackle noticeable; other places there are virtually NO pops/clicks & NO background noise to speak of; all told, a SOMEWHAT SATISFYING listen)

Cover = see pix; much general wear (worse on back); a couple of tears on front; tiny chipping along front edges; lite diagonal cracks in front corners; lite staining along front spine edge; 2 record company stickers on front ; writing on back; small piece of paper missing on back, near bottom edge; 5" (12.5 cm) split from right corner + 4" (10 cm) split from left corner on top seam; 2" (5 cm) split from right corner + 7" (17.5 cm) split from left corner on bottom seam; major spine split from both corners, only connected for about 2" (5 cm) towards the top of spine; cover is in one piece, barely...; any questions?, please ask
