ROGER WATERS VINYL pros & cons of hitchhiking LP Pink Floyd SCARCE 1st US PROMO

Up for sale now is a 1st US PRESS PROMOTIONAL copy of Roger Water's first solo LP "The Pros & Cons of Hitch Hiking" from 1984. This is the unadulterated cover (later covers had a black bar across her booty), and this comes with the original lyric record sleeve. There is a GOLD PROMO STAMP across the bar code on the back (bar code 07464-39290-1, the eBay Bar Code field wouldn't accept it). The cover itself has some edge wear and bumped corners, and a very small amount of ring wear seen mostly at the bottom of the front (please see all photos, it does still look pretty great). There is a legible but slightly worn spine, and NO splitting. The record sleeve has a couple inch split mid bottom spine of it, otherwise, it is looking good. The vinyl itself is clean and shiny with good color and maybe a sleeve mark or so but NO scratches, NO skipping, very nice vinyl in great shape. I have listened to it and there is some low crackle in quieter passages and there's a few, and acouple pops. I did listen to it pretty loud, so it makes sense it's be more noticable, but used vinyl always has some noise, and this does. 

I've not seen too many promos for this LP, so this is a bit scarce. While some may argue that Pink Floyd's last album with Roger Waters, the stellar (I would argue) follow up to "The Wall", "The Final Cut", was mostly a solo album, but this is the official real deal. Without David Gilmour's guitar playing, Water's enlisted ERIC CLAPTON to play some very tasty licks, this is a growing. After a few listens, it has really sucked me in with its story of sex and aging, this is a must for any Floyd fan.
