ROGER WEBB - FREE AS AIR. De Wolfe Records DWLP3329 UK Mono LP 1972. ORIGINAL SECOND PRESSING ON RED DE WOLFE LABEL "(p) 1981". Condition: EX+/EX+(looks unplayed, light surface marks from paper Inner). 

Selection of modern sounds by small group including string quartet composed by the great Roger Webb. Notable for the moody DJ club funk track Incantation (unusual, furtive mood), Meet Mister Mee (earthy, rhythmic), Smoke Rings (bluesy, night-club mood) used on The Sweeney television soundtrack and the infamous Boddingtons Draught Beer tv commercial and the film soundtrack of Adventures Of A Private Eye starring Jon Pertwee, Freeway (brisk, rhythmic, modern movement), Riviera (relaxed, warm) and Gentle Unisax (gentle bossa feel, sweet string intro). Cool library artwork by Nick Bantock! 

This is the second issue with a 1981 credit on labels.
