Description

Hello and welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I'm happy to be able to offer them to you now. Here is what you're bidding on:
TITLE/ARTIST: "Collaboration" by Shorty Rogers and Andre Previn on the RCA Victor Records label (LJM 1018) in original MONO sound from 1955. Also includes "Collaboration" 45 EP EJC 1018 (2 out of 3 EPs) from 1955 and "Fiesta Flamenca" 45 EP EPB 1102, also from 1955.
CONDITION OF VINYL: Excellent for All(Vinyl glows with vitality; there are some light scuffs - graded visually using special daylight-balanced spotlight). CONDITION OF JACKET: VG+ for LP(Jacket moderate overall edge/corner/soiling wear; front cover has bottom corner dings and creases; gatefold inner sleeve has complete splits at top and bottom openings; moderate to heavy soiling and age wear to inside front cover and back cover - please see actual item in photos). CONDITION OF 45 EP "Collaboration": Jacket is in Near Mint condition; records are in Near Mint condition with 45 inserts (NOTE: there are only two of the three records are included); CONDITION OF 45 EP "Fiesta Flamenca": Jacket and both records are in Near Mint condition! Records do not have 45 inserts.
SPECIAL FEATURES: This is our idea of a wonderful Jim Flora album collection. We are including TWO Flora covers of the album "Collaboration" by Shorty Rogers and Andre Previn, one LP and one EP, along with a third album, the EP called "Fiesta Flamenca" which is included for its back cover image of "Collaboration" as well as "Inside Sauter Finegan", both by Jim Flora. As far as the Flora images are concerned, the LP image is VG+, with creases at both bottom corners and some light scuffs/soiling; the image on the 45EP "Collaboration" is Near Mint, with only very slight delamination at the opening; the images on the back of the 45EP "Fiesta Flamenca" of both "Collaboration" and "Inside Sauter-Finegan" are both unmarked and spectacular! We realize this "FLORA TRIFECTA" is unusual, but it's our hope that you will enjoy each and every one of the 5 records and four Jim Flora images. Best of luck!
TRACKS: Please see internet sites for specific track information. Thanks so much!

Thanks! If you have further questions about condition or content, please don't hesitate to ask. You may bid with unworried confidence. Our sales history is your assurance of absolute integrity. Thank you and good luck.
OUR GRADING SYSTEM: We grade visually, and we are happy to listen to any LP and give you an aural grade as well. SS (Still Sealed as from the factory); NM (Near Mint - our highest grade; the vinyl has only a very few light marks that do not affect play); VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus - a few more light marks than Near Mint; still a great record that plays near perfectly); VG+ (Very Good Plus - an enjoyable, played and loved, obviously used but still listenable record, usually with some light pops, but free of major audible distraction; jacket may be lightly worn, slightly dinged, even very lightly split, but NEVER trashed); VG (Very Good) and below - we usually do NOT sell these, but if we have some good reason to offer such a record, we will explain completely).
