Description
Hello and welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I'm happy to be able to offer them to you now. Here is what you're bidding on: TITLE & ARTIST: "Collaboration" - by Shorty Rogers and Andre Previn on the RCA Records label (LJM 1018), in beautiful original monaural sound, released in 1956. CONDITION: JACKET - VG++ (Jacket with gatefold design has light age/edge/corner wear; inside gatefold sides have ring and age wear; glossy front cover with its Flora artwork is lightly marked with slight age and scuff wear - please see actual album in photo); VINYL - VG+ (RCA Record's original black/silver/dog label is unmarked and the vinyl has some light scuff marks - Visually Graded under custom spotlight). SPECIAL FEATURES: This is one of the best examples I've seen of this classic Rogers/Previn album/Flora cover. Excellent liner notes and photos inside the gatefold cover. It is absolutely suitable for framing with only the lightest scuffs on the front jacket. As an added bonus, the music sounds great too. TRACKS: It's DeLovely, Porterhouse, Heat Wave, 40 Below, You Stepped Out of a Dream, Claudia, You Do Something to Me, Call for Cole, Everything I've Got Belongs to You, Some Antics, General Cluster, and It Only Happens When I Dance with You. Thanks! If you have further questions about condition or content, please don't hesitate to ask. You may bid with unworried confidence. Our sales history is your assurance of absolute integrity. Thank you and good luck. OUR GRADING SYSTEM: We grade visually, and we are happy to listen to any LP and give you an aural grade as well. SS (Still Sealed as from the factory); NM (Near Mint - our highest grade; the vinyl has only a very few light marks that do not affect play); VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus - a few more light marks than Near Mint; still a great record that plays near perfectly); VG+ (Very Good Plus - an enjoyable, played and loved, obviously used but still listenable record, usually with some light pops, but free of major audible distraction; jacket may be lightly worn, slightly dinged, even very lightly split, but NEVER trashed); VG (Very Good) and below - we usually do NOT sell these, but if we have some good reason to offer such a record, we will explain completely).
