Roky Erikson took psychedelia to a new level withe the 13th Floor Elevators and kept on going throughout the 70s-80s! Possibly the greatest psychedelic garage rock icon to come out of the 60s. Great classic psych/garage rock!!!!
Twenty three unissued blasts cut at the 1978 warm up sessions for Roky and the Aliensí EVIL ONE LP! Roky filters his patented howl through a slew of covers ranging from Dion and the Belmonts and Bobby Vee to Elvis and Buddy Holly, not to mention a Bye Bye Birdie show tune! Dig some unheard Roky originals, too! It's like the Elevators meet King Uszneiwicz at a Martian pajama party!
