Description
Roland Alphonso & The Ska-Talites.
Linval Spencer.
DESCRIPTION & TITLE.
Side 1:Ball 'O Fire.
Side 2:Can't Go On.
This 7" Single has the catalogue number C14.It is made by Coxsone Records MFG CO. Ltd,Jamaica W.I.
I am sorry,I don't know when this record was made.As you can see in the picture,it comes on Yellow Virgin Vinyl, and features two different artists.Although there is no centre ,I see no evidence that there ever was one,I think this is how it was sold.
CONDITION:GRADED AS PER RECORD COLLECTOR PRICE GUIDE.
VINYL:
Excellent Visually. These coloured records tend to be difficult to tell what the sdound will be like just by looking.I can see a light surface scratch on the Ska-Talites side, which can't be heard.Generally this Vinyl is in great shape, and pretty clean.
I played it,and found no sticks or pops, but did hear some light crackles. This may be due simply to the recording originally,or the Vinyl quality.I simply do not know.It is certainly pleasant enough to enjoy, and I guess very rare.
LABELS:
Excellent, I think the pictures show them well.I see what I think is some missing print, but it has not been rubbed off,I believe it to be how they were originally made,I don't think these old Jamaican records came from plants with such high quality manufacturing as the likes of CBS,HMV etc.
SLEEVE:
Very good.
Simply a plain white job with no splits, some wear and a crease.I don't know if it is original,it has a price sticker which is printed TIME STORES 5,and written 7/6.
I have 3 or 4 more reggae singles to list when I get time,I think they are all made in Jamaica, and possibly rare. They will appear on Ebay.Be sure to add me to your favorites list!
All Items are Graded As In The Record Collector 2006 Price Guide,in Brief these grades are as folows:
Mint-Unplayed,sealed or as good as an unplayed undamaged item,.
Excellent-Some signs the record has been played, very little lessening in sound quality.Cover/Packaging might have slight wear/creasing.
Very Good-Been Played many times,no major deterioration in sound, despite noticeable surface marks, occational light scratch.Normal wear & tear on the cover or extra items, without major defect is acceptable.
Good-Played so much,used so much,sounds bad,many problems such as splits,stains etc.
Fair-Just Playable-not nice.
Ways To Pay:
U.K.Cheque or Postal Order Prefered,Paypal is also allowed, but personally I am not keen on it.
WORLDWIDE:Paypal, and I am open to other suggestions if you don't have Paypal.

I hope this helps, sorry I never thought to mention it when I originally typed the listing. Also,I stated that the Catalogue number was C13,I did not notice that it was C14 on the flipside,so I hope this is now clear to you.
