On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Rolling Stones called '12 x 5' and is an ORIGINAL UK 'RIDGED' export 1st MONO pressing!!!! AS MANY COLLECTORS WILL ALREADY KNOW - THE ALBUM '12 x 5' WAS NOT RELEASED IN THE UK - AND ONLY RELEASED IN THE U.S. AND A FEW OTHER COUNTRIES.  AS YOU CAN SEE FROM MY PICTURES IT HAS 'MADE IN ENGLAND' ON LABEL, AND UK MATRIX NUMBERS ARL-6493-1A & ARL-6494-2A!!!!  AFTER SPEAKING TO MANY EXPERTS IN THE ROLLING STONES FIELD IT IS THOUGHT THAT THIS WAS A PLANNED (PERHAPS ABORTED?) EXPORT PRESSING IN THE UK FOR SHIPPING TO ANOTHER COUNTRY (PERHAPS U.S.A. - THERE IS A U.S. PATENT NUMBER ON THE LABEL).  EVEN THOUGH THIS COPY WAS MADE IN THE UK - YOU WILL NOTICE THE U.S. PATENT NUMBER ON THE LABEL, AND ALSO THE 'LONDON' LOGO - WHICH WAS NEVER USED IN THE UK.  YOU WILL ALSO NOTICE THE VERY VERY RARE 'LONDON' INNER SLEEVE WHICH AGAIN WAS NEVER USED IN THE UK - BUT AGAIN WAS MADE IN THE UK!!!! IT IS  WHY THIS WAS DONE WILL PERHAPS ALWAYS REMAIN A MYSTERY. PERHAPS THIS WAS A PLANNED EXPORT THAT NEVER HAPPENED???? ONE THING IS PRETTY CERTAIN THOUGH - IS THAT UK EXPORT COPYS WOULD HAVE ONLY PRESSED IN  VERY VERY SMALL QUANTITIES AND DISCONTINUED VERY VERY QUCKLY INDEED!!!! THESE UK EXPORT PRESSINGS JUST NEVER TURN UP AND ARE INCREDIBLY RARE!!!! IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THIS COPY HAD NO COVER WHEN IT WAS ORIGINALLY PRESSED AS THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN SUPPLIED AT ITS COUNTRY OF DESTINATION. NO DOUBT A MONO SLEEVE FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY IS EASILY GETTABLE FOR ANYONE WHO WISHES - THOUGH REALLY AS THIS RECORD WAS NEVER SHIPPED OUT FROM THE UK THIS IS EXACTLY AS IT WOULD HAVE COME - AND I BELIEVE IT IS BETTER TO LEAVE WELL ALONE.  THIS IS AFTER ALL A PIECE OF HISTORY AND THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN EXACTLY AS IT CAME!!!! This is an ORIGINAL Decca UK 1st EXPORT pressing from 1964 and is in STUNNING condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is LL 3402 on the ORIGINAL 'RIDGED' UK pressed London Label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st EXPORT pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Rolling Stones at their best!!!! Any fan of The Rolling Stones, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only a VERY few light hairlines, and only a few light paper scuff lines only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS A 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! IT SHINES LIKE NEW!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, only a VERY few VERY low level clicks, NO sticking, NO jumps and NO crackle!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its MEGA RARE UK made inner sleeve!!!! The Brown Outer Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear, and only a VERY few light creases (cover is still VERY flat looking)!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! The cover must grade FULL Excellent!!!!
