Very Rare Original 1965 UK Decca Records Mono Unboxed 1st Press 'Out Of Our Heads' by The Rolling Stones!!! Mega Rare UK 1st Press Complete with 1st Press 'Pleated Spine' Clout & Baker Sleeve and Original Poly-Lined Inner Sleeve!! In Absolutely SENSATIONAL Vinyl Condition w/ Nr Mint Playing Surfaces!!! You Will Not See Another Cleaner Crisper Mono 1st Press!!! A Beautiful Record and Very Highly Recommended!!!
Here is another gem from my own mostly Nr Mint personal collection (which I am selling off gradually to lessen the pain...) I have been collecting very rare vinyl for a long time now. As a collector, I have been very critical about the condition of the records I have chosen to buy over the years, and only selected the most pristine 1st pressings from all around the UK. My collection is therefore filled with not only the rarest UK 1st pressings, but also records of the highest grade quality condition, some of the best you will probably ever come across. Sadly, all will be finding new homes over the coming months. As I said, I am very strict with my grading, so when I describe a record as Nr Mint - you can rest assured that it will be a true Nr Mint record (I never grade any records as Mint because Mint does not exist in the world of vintage vinyl - in my opinion, as soon as the record has been taken home from the store it is no longer mint!!) I hope you enjoy my listings.
You are bidding on a Stunning ORIGINAL 1965 UK Mono 1st Press of the classic 'Out Of Our Heads' by The Rolling Stones' on 1st Press unboxed Mono Decca Labels!!! This is a sensational record and another that it very hard to part with!!!! The playing surfaces of this vinyl are in absolutely STUNNING NR MINT Condition - the best I have ever see for this record!!! When mono 1st press copies of this record turn up they are invariably in very poor condition with lots of scratches and a dull lifless sheen. Not this one - the playing surfaces have the most stunning glass-like shine to them!!! You just never see playing surfaces like this on 1960's records today, let alone 1st press Un-boxed Decca Rolling Stones Albums which are always dull & worn & full of scratches. This record has been archived in my personal collection for over 30 years now and will be very hard to part with. No amount of words do it justice so just take a look at the images for a while. I have tried as best as I can to capture the beauty of this record, from its unmarked glass-like sheen, to its stunning unblemished C&L laminated 1st press Mono sleeve, but obviously photos only go so far... You have to trust me on this one when I say you will be hard pushed to find a better example of this awesome record anywhere... Please see the description below...

What can I say about the vinyl that I have not already said? It is stone cold Mint- with NO Scratches, No scuffing, NO Hairlines NO Paperlines, NO Bagrash, NO blemishes of any kind at all! It is absolutely perfect!!! This disc looks like it came off the master press this morning!!! It has all the deep glass-like shine a newly pressed record that as only ever been played once or at the most twice before!!! Impossible for a MONO 1st press Rolling Stones album!!! The record still retains ALL of its original gloss and shine and has NO dulling and NO nasty greying of the grooves!!! This kind of glass-like sheen is SO rare for original Unboxed Decca Stones 1st press records as they almost always turn up with horrendous groove wear leading to a dull sheen. Once again, this one has the pristine glass-like sheen of a record that was pressed yesterday - very special indeed!!! I have no hesitation whatsoever with grading the playing surfaces of this vinyl as a strong Nr Mint!!! Its as simple as that!!! It is that most elusive of things, a true UK Rolling Stones Unboxed Mono 1st pressing of 'Out Of Our Heads' with NO groove wear at all!!! (suitable for the highest grade Rolling Stones collection - you will not find a better example!!) Now we get to the Classic 1st press Unboxed Decca centre labels, and here lies the only real flaw with this record. The side A label has has a name written in black biro, it's annoying, I know, however, don't let it put you off this one because the rest of this package is very, very special indeed!!! Aside from the name there is also sone rubbing to the edge of the side A label, The side B labels in perfect Ex+++ condition with NO Tears, NO Peeling, NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind!!! There are only the faintest spindle lines from the record's few plays by the original owner. The gramophone rims containing the all important 1st press matrix's are MINT-!!! Due to the slight flaw on the label I have decided to average out the whole vinyl (labels and playing surfaces) with an Ex++ grading. Remember though that these playing surfaces are in pristine Nr Mint condition!!! The classic TRUE 1st press thickly front-laminated Clout & Baker sleeve is also in superb condition!!! The sleeve is in STUNNING Ex condition with NO Discolouration, NO Stains and NO Tears/Rips/Nicks!!! The only slight flaw is that the original owner has again, written his name in the top right corner. Other than this it retains ALL of its original stiffness. The laminate is also the best I have ever seen, it visibly glistens and looks almost 'wet' in appearance!!! It has virtually NO edge and corner wear!!! The edges are Nr Mint and the spine is nice and strong with perfectly legible spine text!!! The unlaminated back just has a faint ring-wear trace. As mentioned previously I have given this sleeve an Ex grading (most would grade higher), please rest assured that this is in no way over-graded, what you are getting here is the real deal. I adhere strictly to record collector grading standards!!! IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND 1ST PRESS CLOUT & BAKER SLEEVES IN THIS CONDITION ANYMORE!!! The LP comes with its Original correct UK 1st press poly-lined windowed inner sleeve - which is in stunning Nr Mint condition, with no writing, no creases and no separation of the inner poly-lining. Beautiful!! Please check out our feedback and bid with confidence as this is a no reserve auction with a very low starting price!
Do not underestimate the rarity of this record in this condition!!! UK 1st press copies in such stunning condition are as such is in very high demand today. Do not let the mark on the side B label put you off this record, it is still a very special record even with the mark!!! If you have never heard it, you will not find another copy that looks prettier than this one!! If you are a collector/investor, the price of this record will just rise and rise. This record would be an essential addition to any high grade 1st press Rolling Stones/Beat/Psych collection. You will not see another like this for a very long time!!! Don't miss this one!!!

Postage ... Hazey Jane has absolutely NO hidden surcharges; the price you win is the price you pay, just add the relevant postage, it's as simple as that! We always combine postage so if you win more than 1 auction you save money on postage costs! We will only ship to non-UK countries via Airmail - we do not use surface mail, it is way too slow and thus increases the risk of records being damaged during transit.
A little note about insurance - Please read carefully... If the value of your record(s) is over £30, your invoice will include an insured option. Being the responsible adults you are, it is entirely up to you to take this up - we strongly advise you to do this but will not hassle you about it. You either add the required insurance or you don't. If you do add the required insurance and your record is lost/damaged, you will get a refund. If you don't add the required insurance and your record is lost/damaged, you will not get a refund. Can we be any clearer? I think not.

Refunds & Feedback ... Please read this carefully ... We try to give you the best quality examples of rare records available. However, there will always be somebody out there whose expectations far exceed UK record collector grading standards. If you are in anyway unsatisfied with your record or our grading of it please refer to the UK Record Collector Grading Chart very carefully BEFORE emailing us. We strictly adhere to it and will only offer refunds (minus the postage AND our eBay costs) if we are satisfied that we have fallen below UK record collector grading standards. This will very rarely, if ever, happen. We will not be impressed with buyers disputing our gradings without even bothering to check the UK record collector grading standards chart first - you have been warned ...
Buyers who continually Haggle, Whine and Moan to try to decrease the price they won their auctions for will be blocked from bidding on future auctions and can toodle off down to HMV or Virgin where they can harass the counter staff there.
We will always leave feedback upon receipt of feedback. In an ideal world we would like to leave feedback as soon as the record has been shipped but due to feedback blackmail in the past (i,e, ",,,I want a partial refund or I will leave negative feedback") we have opted to take this measure. Contact must be made within 3 days of winning the auction. If payment has not been received after 10 days a non paying bidder alert will be placed. If payment is then not received within 7 days Negative feedback WILL be left and the buyer WILL be given a strike by eBay. Thanks for reading.
