Description
After 20 years of collecting, the time has come for me to sell my Beatles collection and let other collectors appreciate some of the records and memorabilia I've accumilated over the years. Please check out my other listings and remember to save me as a favourite seller, as every week I'll be listing more and more increasingly rare, collectible and desirable Beatles records!
Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

Just currently going through a small pile of Rolling Stones I also have in my collection. Next week will be back to all Beatles!
This auction is for a rare stereo 1st pressing of the Rolling Stones 1968 Decca LP 'Through the Past Darkly (Big Hits Vol. 2).
This album came out in 1969, just when Decca were about to undergo a label change. The old style Decca logo was replaced with a smaller, boxed logo. These boxed logo copies are easy to spot, but the original 1969 1st press unboxed presses are much more difficult to find!
Hard to find and pretty collectible!
Comes with it's original hexagonal sleeve and custom stereo inner sleeve!

The original hexagonal cover is looking pretty good, but it's showing its age a little. these covers, due to their design, were pretty fragile. The front cover is looking good with a little, light dirt buildup on the laminate and some creases here and there. Top and bottom seams are holding tight with a little wear but no splits or tears. the spine is holding but has heavily worn as you can see in the photo above, but is holding okay and hasn't torn. Inside is looking okay with a good colour. There are a couple of little smudges under the credits on the right, 'Record 18' has been written at the top on the right and there's light, general wear around the edges. Overall, like I say, looking okay but has some wear. Inner Sleeve: VG+

The original custom mono inner sleeve is included. It's looking nice with no splits or tears and with a little creasing in the corners. it's slightly yellowed but, overall, is looking nice!. Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : GOOD-

The playing surface is looking slightly tired and has quite a lot of light scuffs, marks and surface scratches along with some slightly heavier looking scuffs. On side 2 there's a noticeable scuff at 4 o'clock that runs from the middle of track 1 across the disc and into the label. It's light but very noticeable, and is not feelable under the fingernail.

The labels are looking pretty good with a nice colour and bright, silver text. There's some light spindlewear and a little wear around the centrehole.
