ROLLING STONES 1st LP 1964 2.52 TELL ME VERSION RARE.

Hi There. My Name is Mark I am a keen record collector and have been buying and trading records for nearly 30 years I will be grading the records that I have decided to sell using a mixture of what I see (Using a strong light), and what I hear (using a Rega Planar 3 with Ortofon cartridge through Cyrus amplification to Mission 782 speakers. I will try to be honest and often supply a sound clip from the actual item when the items are obscure like acetates etc, Clips are taken straight from the record to the PC upload (no noise reduction or anything like that will be used) All records will be sent out in a plastic cover and records will be removed from picture sleeves to prevent any kind of damage to seems etc (The record will be put into a plain sleeve) Gradings are as follows Good or G with + or - Very Good or VG with + or - Excellent or EX with + or - and finally Mint- or Mint-/UNP for items I believe have never been played or are sealed. THE ITEM

The Rolling Stones - Same. Rare 1964 1st LP, Mono Red Unboxed Decca Label LK-4605 with the 2.52 Demo version of Tell Me. Side 1 matrix is XARL-6271-2A and Side 2 matrix is XARL-6272-1A.

Vinyl Condition is generally on the Minus side of Very Good (VG/-) Both sound clips are straight from the actual record so that you can get an idea of the sound quality, I have over run on both clips so that you can also hear the run on and run off from each track used, The clips are from Route 66 and Tell Me.

Sleeve Condition is Very Good (VG) with some laminate lift and cracking to front and discoloration and staining to rear (See pics from actual item) Also has very faint written name B SMITH Rear top left.

Label Conditions are Very Good/+ (see pics)

Please note that this record has been professionally cleaned and Also note that I have played the LP through about 10 to 15 times in the 5 or so years that I have owned it and it has no jumps or sticks, there are some clicks and pops which is what you would expect from an LP of this age in this condition.

Also I have just timed the track via the media player and it is running slightly over 2.52 at a little over 3 minutes this is due to the new band I have recently bought for my rega, very thin and not worth the money! this is why original parts are always best, Lesson learnt again!!...
