COMMENTS:     You are looking at a 1st press album, first ffrr, entitled "England's Newest Hit Makers" which was released in May of 1964.  This RARE and Hard-to-Find variation is on the London Records label "Recorded in Europe" Made in U.S.A.  (LL 3375) on ffrr labels.  There is a unique aspect of the cover design which clearly identifies it as a "1st Pressing".  A mention of the "free color poster" included in all first pressings, will be located on the lower left hand side (on Brian's elbow) of the front cover.  This classic Stones LP was recorded at Regent Sound Studios in London over the course of 5 days in January and February of 1964.  Two songs are credited to "Nanker Phelge" a pseudonym that the Stones used for group compositions from 1963 to 1965.  That pseudonym referred to Phil Spector and Gene Pitney for contributing to the recording sessions, and are referred to as "Uncle Phil and Uncle Gene" in the subtitle of the Phelge instrumental "Now I've Got A Witness" and "Little By Little".  Hard to believe this GREAT Blues recording only had one song credited to these fledging songwriters during early 1964!  That song being "Tell Me (You're Coming Back)", Mick and Keith's ONLY song on the album.  CONDITON details:  the cover is VG to VG+ with a 6 inch bottom seam split, bottom and spine edge wear and a name written on the back -- keeping it from being rated as Excellent.  The thick rigid vinyl is at least VG visually, with many light scratches most of them cannot be felt, a few that can but not serious. When test played, this album sounded VG+ to Excellent; play quality is clean with light background noise that IS NOT overwhelming while playing!  noting there are audible clicks/pops between songs.  The labels are Excellent; rarest maroon label on this 1st Stones LP with the Ear and the silver bars with FFRR on it.

DISCLOSURE:  although you won't always see the vinyl, we try our best to describe all items; we do not place the albums on the turntable however, we do inspect them closely under bright lights; if there are known defects these will be described in the auction!
