Visual grading
Overall this vinyl is in excellent condition and still has a lovely glossy sheen.  There are some faint hairlines but it has to be said not that many.  On S1 there is a band of hairlines but these have no affect on the audio.  S2 is visually very impressive although there are two very small marks on the opening 3/4 grooves that cause some interference as detailed below.  This side has only a small number of faint hairlines and remains very clean indeed.
Play grading
'Mothers Little Helper' whilst playing with excellent clarity does have some intermittent crackle for the first minute and a couple of clicks.  Thereafter it plays with superb sound and no further interference.  'Stupid Girl' is stunning from start to finish and has only a handful of mega light static sounds that are in no way intrusive.  They are barely audible and as I often say I probably only hear them as I am so close to the speakers!  The classic 'Lady Jane' does have some underlying static and a little crackle but the music still play very clearly.  Not perfect but there are no loud clicks or pops.  'Under My Thumb' plays with wonderful depth and has no obvious 'background' at all, just a minimal touch of light static.  A superb version.  'Doncha Bother Me' practically plays 'as new' the clarity is stunning and the only 'background' is a little static on the fade out.  The bluesy 'Goin' Home' has a couple of crackle sounds on the intro and then plays with incredibly quality.  In fact this is one of the most impressive versions I have ever heard!  There are so many quiet and yet they all play with sublime clarity.  There are very few static 'ticks' and they are so quiet anyway and do not intrude on the superb quality of the listen.  Of course the bass is so strong here and it does not disappoint on this stereo record.  I cannot stress how astounding this audio is!  It grades as Near Mint but the vast majority is better than that!  A fantastic end to S1.
'Flight 505' on S2 sadly has six rather loud double clicks on the intro but following that the audio is very impressive with no other intrusive interference.  'High And Dry' has only the odd light static sound and plays with very clear audio although I did hear 3/4 crackle sounds towards the end.  'Out Of Time' has a little static here and there and plays with very clear audio overall.  There are no clicks or pops and no distortion either.  Just a little crackle on the fade out.  'It's Not Easy' again has a little crackle on the intro and then plays with superb depth for the remainder.  Stunning sound.  'I Am Waiting' has light static on the intro and then the audio performs to a very high standard.  It has many quiet sections and yet they all play incredibly with barely any static.  Plus the choruses play fantastically well, they are 'as new'.  There is a touch of crackle on the fade out but in the main this is a superb version of this track.  The closing three tracks all play very clearly with only the odd static sound here and there.  'What To Do' ends the side with barely any distortion which is a rarity.
The Cover
The laminated 'Clarifoil' cover by 'Robert Stace' is in great condition with minimal shelf wear.  The edges have no rubbing/marks at all and the thin pinched spine is also very impressive with only 3/4 tiny crease marks and remains 100% legible.  The opening edge has barely any handling wear.  The front cover is in lovely shape and has only one tiny laminate split mark top right.  Apart from that the laminate is in superb condition with no other splits nor any lifting, just a few small creases around the edges.  The back cover is generally very clean with only faint marking top left and a little ringwear but no writing anywhere which makes a change!

Inner sleeve
The poly-lined sleeve has no side splits or creasing but there is some spotting and marking around the edges.
The labels
The blue boxed Decca labels are in superb condition with no marking or writing and barely any spindle wear.
