Issued in UK on April 15th 1966. This one exists in both Mono and Stereo versions.
The fourth album on DECCA in UK is again a high sale volume LP. Lots of versions are existing, both on the cover and on the labels. One legendary cover option to look for is the so called “Shadow Cover”. Musically this was a special LP as it is the first LP issued that had only original Jagger - Richards songs, no covers at all. This is the UK version of the album and is not to be mixed with the US version as that one had a different cover and partly other songs on it. The UK version was also sold in the rest of Europe

Vinyl record
Visual: The vinyl itself is nice and glossy surface, with some light visible scuffs and surface marks, no deep scratches. Running vinyl rim line is a light warp, but the vinyl record is flat lying. To be honest, a vinyl that doesn't lay completely flat or has a slight warp doesn't make the vinyl non-playable, most of vinyls 60's do not lay completely. Very good condition, near Excellent.
Audio: Normal for used vinyl, 50 years old, there is a couple click and pops, but having any unpleasant effect on the sound/music reproduction, unfortunately side 2 has at the start, in the begining of the first tree tracks, some short skips, without any visible vinyl surface defects. Generaly, deep and  densy Mono sound, very good condition, with the exception of the ????? defects described.
Sleeve cover
Fully laminated, "The Decca Record Company Limited, London, England, Printed in England by Robert Stace", the cover is intact and clear, no sticks, signs and writings, very good condition. Front side has some laminate lift to opening edge, pls. see pics. All covers have the same Printed By text on the back cover. No variations are known to exist "Printed in England by Robert Stace."

Labels
Both Mono and Stereo DECCA LP's can be found with grooved and non grooved labels. This indicates that mono LP's were pressed up to the end on the 60's. No other differences are existing. This is original first press Red grooved DECCA label Design No 4/Version 1  (LK4786/S1&S2/D4/V1). Labels are clear, without any signs or wears, no sticks, signs and writings. There is light spindle traces. Copyright box: NCB on top of BIEM, Font: Ariel looking font style, No Code, Publishers: MCPS and Mirage Music under the BIEM box, Mick Keith Charlie Brian & Bill with rather small size text. Estimated time of use on LP’s are 1964 - early 1966. Condition is Excellent.
Inner sleeve
Comes with its Original correct inner sleeve (see pics.) - Decca Innerbag No 2. Basically the same bag as No 1, but the text is in a Times New Roman looking font. Plain white bags and light brown striped bags are existing. Patent text  can be found: Striped bags – British Patent 800512  Foreign patent pending, at right bottom corner. Made in England - left bottom corner.

Do not miss this ultra-rare album, one of Aftermath's first pressed vinyls, despite the sound defects described. Low price for 1st press, 1st mothers/stampers both sides vinyl.
