Description:
An original UK first mono pressing of Aftermath, released on the red unboxed Decca label on the 15th April 1966, catalogue number LK.4786. This example features the earliest label variation with BIEM/NCB credits, K/T tax code and first mother and low stampers on both sides.
Original UK mono copies of Aftermath have become increasingly difficult to find in top condition and remain one of the most sought-after Stones albums. This example is particularly well preserved, retaining beautifully clean playing surfaces and an excellent original front laminated sleeve.

The Disc Visual:
The vinyl retains a superb deep-gloss finish on both sides with no marks, scratches or scuffs including when viewed under direct halogen spotlight. Clean labels without wear and the disc sits completely flat on the turntable without warping or dishing. A superb, NEAR MINT!

The Sleeve:
The original front laminated sleeve remains a lovely example with a superb laminate shine, vibrant colours and only light signs of handling. The spine remains crisp and fully readable with only minor wear consistent with careful use. NEAR MINT.
