Here for auction is an exceptional example of the brilliant blues/rock album by THE ROLLING STONES titled “BEGGARS BANQUET”, Catalogue Number SKL 4955. This is an ORIGINAL 1968 *UK STEREO on the UNBOXED DECCA RECORD LABEL, with the earliest 1st issue Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve with ‘Patents Pending’ text on the back cover.  Record Labels - FFSS - Full Frequency Stereophonic Sound

 complete with the original Poly-lined stereo record sleeve

This is the original THICKER and deeper grooved type of vinyl only found on original early pressings later pressings were much more flimsier and less robust

The original LP pressing did not credit Rev. Wilkins as the writer of "Prodigal Son".(LATER PRESSINGS FEATURE THIS)

Sleeve VG++ with only a few light scuffs and very light ring wear - spine shows light wear

vinyl VG++ (could use a cleaning which i have not done) stunning condition
