Description

THE ROLLING STONES - BEGGARS BANQUET, Decca LK4955, original maroon "ffrr" label mono pressing, released in 1968. Vinyl is a gorgeous NM- with nary a scuff or scratch. Was play tested and sounds absolutely stunning with little or no background noise, pops, clicks or other nasty sounds to take away from the listening experience. The mono mix is fantastic! Labels are NM- with virtually no spindle marks. Trail off wax numbers are XARL-8477-2A and XARL-8476-6A. Laminated cover is VG++ with a bit of wear along the spine, corners and edges; just a hint of age yellowing. Shows a tiny bit of ring wear and a small, subtle crease in upper left corner. For the most part, the cover is very nice, considering the fact that its nearly all white and 37 years old! Wow! What a great copy of the classic Stones album, never released in the States in this gorgeous mono mix. I really doubt you'll find a copy more playable than this one. I've been collecting classic rock 'n' roll, soul, rhythm & blues and folk music for over 35 years, so I know how important great pop music is to you.
