Here is a excellent very rare original uk mono first pressing of one of the best 'Rolling Stones' albums ever recorded. This is a really superb original uk issue, the thick chunky mono vinyl is very clean with a excellent original sheen and grades a brilliant EX to EX+ condition, there are no deep surface marks, scuffs or scratches at all, there are just a few very light non-sounding top surface marks and some ultra-fine hard to spot top surface hairlines, both sides play and sound excellent throughout, there are no loud clicks or pops and no annoying loud crackle. The deep red mono labels are excellent and clean and the original front/back laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' gatefold sleeve is also in great condition with no nasty faults. This is a just a really excellent original uk mono first pressing that will definitely not disappoint in any way.
THICK MONO VINYL = EX TO EX+
The thick mono vinyl has been well looked and is in EX to EX+ condition. Both sides still have a really excellent original sheen that show just a few very light top surface marks and some ultra-fine top surface hairlines that are mainly only visible in harsher light, there are no bad or deep surface marks, scuffs or scratches at all so there are no areas with repeated loud clicks or pops or annoying loud crackle, this album plays and sounds really excellent throughout with a great sound quality, there are only some very tiny amounts of extremely light background static/crackle between some tracks. This is just a really excellent looking/playing/sounding original uk mono 1st issue that will not disappoint in any way.
DARK RED MONO LABELS = EX
Both unboxed red mono labels are in excellent clean condition, there are just a few spindle traces visible on either side otherwise superb.
GARROD & LOFTHOUSE GATEFOLD COVER = EX
The front and back laminated gatefold sleeve was made and printed in the uk by 'Garrod & Lofthouse International Limited'. This cover looks superb and is in excellent clean condition with no bad faults at all. The front and back lamination has slightly yellowed over time but still has a brilliant high gloss sheen, there are only a couple of very small creases near the spine. The inside gatefold is excellent and clean with no noticeable wear. The top and bottom edges only have a few very small areas of shelf/storage wear, at the top right corner at the covers opening there is a very small area which has worn through, this really is only very small and does not look too bad at all. The spine is great but is just slightly squashed in places but all text is bold and clear and very easy to read. The opening edge has a little wear and has a slight wavy affect. This cover still looks really excellent and like the vinyl it too will not disappoint.
