Description

ROLLING STONES BIG HITS (HIGH TIDE AND GREEN GRASS) LP 1st US PRESS 1966 SEALED!

For your consideration is one Very Rare Original 1st U.S. pressing STEREO Release of  THE ROLLING STONES "BIG HITS" ( HIGH TIDE AND GREEN GRASS ) vinyl LP on LONDON Records NPS-1 Electronically Re-processed which is still in new factory sealed condition from 1966! This LP is still factory sealed with the only minor flaws being two small shrink pull through areas located in the two lower sharp outer corner tips of the jacket. The art work on the thick cardboard U.S. version gatefold jacket is nice and bright and unfaded with the jacket being free from creases with the only very minor flaws being some light rubs to the bottom two outer sharp edge tips of the jacket in the area where the shrink wrap pulled though but these are very small minor flaws in deed when compared to over all beautiful condition of the complete jacket. The Original hype sticker is firmly attached to the front of the jacket on the shrink but additionally someone added at one time a total of 7 small white paper sticker dots which are nicely positioned next to the song titles on and off to the right side of the hype sticker. Big Hits ( High Tide and Green Grass ) is the 1st official compilation album by the Rolling Stones. It was released on March 28th 1966 on London Records in the United States and on November 1966 on Decca Records in the United Kingdom. The two releases featured different cover art and track listings. The front cover for the American release was used for the rear photo on the UK edition. Big Hits ( High Tide and Green Grass ) reached #4 in the UK charts. This is a great classic Rolling Stones vinyl record LP to add to your vinyl album collection! This Rare Original vintage Stones LP is being sold on a "No Reserve Auction" type basis so don't be afraid to make an offer on it....Who knows?... You just might end up owning it! :-)
