The Sleeve
Very good condition with some soiling,creasing or marks as seen in the pictures or noted.This has been handled and played its not a "perfect"
The Record

Has been played in its long life frequently and shows some light surface marks which didnt affect play,there is a little background noise in most of the quiet parts; possibly the odd click, we test played with a new stylus and its sounded fantastic for its age. the noise "no expectations kept this away from VGC.
no skips on a light tracking deck we tried, great puncy Mono sound for us its a great find at this price...
this copy has a very small amount of warp (around 2mm at outer) nothing serious, it has great audio in the mono masterpiece from 1968, holding up well for its 49 years...
"great fat 60 s" pre 70s oil crisis heavy vinyl wow!
This is an Original Red Decca label mono pressing, on the silver and red Decca record label with unboxed Decca logos. There are several label variants for this LP
referring to website "Stones on Decca" we can see this is shown as first press version,
"there are no brackets around the inverted matrix number above the catalogue number, Mirage music is under the Biem MCB box on the left, the J/T tax code is at the bottom of the label, the tracks are listed in times new roman style font, the side indications are on the left side of the spindle hole. Matrix numbers XARL-8476-4A & XARL-8477-3A."
This record has been played a lot and it plays well! (only static and surface noise the issue on no expectations) both sides have scuffs and feelable marks but the play back was very good with only a few background crackles"
This is not a MINT or Archieve copy it has been played a lot but a great affordable buy for any collector, this The Stones 7th recording from 1968 it is now harder to find in Mono than any of first 6 records ...
here it is under £150!
The original UK mono copies from 1968 are now so hard to find in good condition you can see £250+ and sometimes £350 for a "Nr Ex" is not unusual , here for less than £150 is a "Good condition" bargain. Sounds really cool in mono.
The outer laminated sleeve is printed by Garrod and Lofthouse.
the sleeve has been handled a lot over the years and has wear soiling normal to its 49 years, see photos for reference, no rips or tears writing or stickers, kept in PVC jacket recently, these are hard to find and rising in price steady , one of the most sought after Stones Mono releases from 68.
This is a good sleeve no serious rips or tears, some fraying on the spine and rounding the corners after its 49 years..
