Description
ROLLING STONES - Black & Blue 12" 4 track acetate sampler(1976)
- This is a four track, one sided sampler. All tracks are from side B of the Black & Blue album (Hey Negrita, Melody, Fool to Cry, Crazy Mama'.
- Released on Stirling Sound Inc, NYC - dated 2.18.76 on the label.
- Comes in a plain white company sleeve that has definitely seen better days. Has damp patches, creases and water marks (see pictures). We have placed the record in our own sleeve for its protection.
- The acetate itself looks fairly good though. As acetates can degrade with play, we have not played it fully (merely checked a few seconds each side to check it is the Rolling Stones) so grading is on a visual basis only. The surfaces look VG. There are no deep scratches and the only scuff/ 'scratch' marks you can't feel to touch. The few seconds of play sounded fine, minor crackles only (again, far better than you would normally expect of an acetate).
A very rare find indeed! An absolute must for any serious collector.
