ROLLING STONES ‘COCKSUCKER BLUES’ bw ‘BROWN SUGAR’ (LIVE?)

 

This is the infamous contract filler track with which the Stones finished their contract with Decca records.  The story goes that they Decca were insisting that they fulfilled their contract and they did, with this!  It was never released as single, for pretty obvious reasons, though there was a apparently a brief appearance on 12” in the US and an even briefer release on a German compilation.

 

This then, is the only way to obtain a copy.  This is the first I’ve ever seen in a lifetime of record collecting and 25 years of record dealing.  It’s a simple, white label A side, black label, B side, and what sounds like a live version of ‘Brown Sugar’.

 

The A side is just Mick Jagger singing against an acoustic guitar.  The single is in Near mint condition and plays perfectly.

 

Postal Charges: P&P to any UK address is free of charge though I strongly recommend insurance for items over £35 in value.  Insurance is optional at a further £4.95.  For overseas delivery, I charge £3.70 for International Signed For status.  Insurance is optional at a further £2.20, also mandatory for items over £50 in value.
