This is the UK Original press of The Rolling Stones debut LP. This early press has the rare 1A//3A matrix, the heavy original 60's vinyl and the original handling inner sleeve. The vinyl is complete with the MacNeill press laminated flipback sleeve.


The vinyl is in Very Good+ condition. Both sides have a superb mirrored gloss, there are no signs of heavy play or any wear to the grooves at all. There are just a few very light wispy marks on both sides. The original plain red grooved Decca labels are exceptionally bright and completely clean. The colour is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is a little spindle wear.


The sound quality is Excellent. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is exceptionally rich and warm. Just very light background noise but certainly nothing that spoils the enjoyment of this album at any point - the sound has excellent clarity and separation throughout.


The sleeve is in Very Good condition. The image is sharp, the text is clear and the laminate has a superb shine. There are some light laminate creases and a little opening edge wear. The back has some discolouration but the white is still bright. The flipbacks are complete and sealed and the spine is firm with clear text.
