Description
Here we have a 2nd era (post Brian Jones) LP Set (2 discs) by THE ROLLING STONES . Titled ; "EXILE ON MAIN STREET" (1972) . A RARE COMPLETE FIRST PRESSING with 12 Postcards & INNER Sleeves.
Features the 2nd line-up of:- Mick Jagger & Keith Richard (the Songwriters); Bill Wyman, Charlie Watts & Mick Taylor (on guitar).
"EXILE ON MAIN STREET" is a Double LP on the UK Rolling Stones Record label; COC 69100; matrix A2 / B1 / C1 / D2 (almost certainly a FIRST PRESSING). Vinyl is :- Side 1 : Visually, EXCELLENT (nothing significant) Play: EXCELLENT (great clear sound. Side 2 : All EXCELLENT (as per Side 1). Side 3 : Visually, EXCELLENT (no notable marks). Play: EXCELLENT- (all great apart from a 3 rev. click on track 4). Side 4 : Visually, EXCELLENT- (excellent apart from some circular surface marks on track 3). Play: EXCELLENT- (just a couple of odd clicks) All 12 Postcard Inserts (still attached to one another) ; EXCELLENT apart from one small crease; EXC.- . **It is very Rare to find any of these postcards still with the records, let alone all 12 still attached**.
2 Card INNER SLEEVES:- EXCELLENT (2 ordinary Inner Sleeves are included to house the records separately.
Outer Gatefold Sleeve:- Inside/Hidden Opening. Overall Graded @ VERY GOOD++ .
Another Great Stones Album, not a duff track.
For the 2 LP Set OVERALL GRADE is EXCELLENT- .
