ROLLING STONES - Exile On Main Street

Original UK Double LP

Rolling Stones Records (COC 69100)

Rare original UK pressing on the yellow Rolling Stones Records label in foldover sleeve with both inner sleeves & a full set of 12 postcards. All the postacrds are unused & still attatched to each other. This copy is still in nice collectable condition.

 Matrix:

1) COC 69100 A2

2) COC 69100 B2

3) COC 69100 C1

4) COC 69100 D2

The sleeve is in vg++ condition with no major issues. Like nearly all copies it has some rubbing to spine, edges & corners. Also has some wear top & bottom of spine & some sticker removal wear top right that you tend not to notice unless looking for it. Both inner sleeves are in excellent condition.

The Rare 12 postcard set which is usually missing & generally increases the value five fold is still present. All 12 are not only unused but still attached to each other. Very nice to see & tough to find like this.

The labels are in excellent condition with just the lightest touch of spindle wear & just a few spider marks. Both records retain a nice sheen with few signs of being played.

Still in nice collectable condition. The sleeve is a decent example with just light rubbing & some sticker removal wear, along with some wear to top & bottom of the spine. The labels are in nice condition with just slight spindle wear & just a few spider marks. The records retain their original sheen with few signs of being played.

For the last 20 years we have been looking through 100's & even 1,000's of records every week, but we still only pull out a tiny percentage to sell on.

Condition

Sleeve: VG++ (No tears, writing, splits, bends or ringwear, has edge/corner/spine wear, sticker removal wear top right & some wear to top & bottom of spine)
Records: Excellent (still have their original sheen with few signs of being played, No scratches)   Our grading is strict so as not to dissapoint, we have been selling on ebay since 1998 & know how important this is. Grading of records is done with the record angled under a 100 Watt bulb. Scans are of actual item up for auction. All records are packed securely & most importantly packed outside of the picture sleeve (in a plain inner sleeve) so as to avoid seam splits during shipping, sealed records will however be sent sealed.

Near Mint

Almost mint.Very minor paper scuffs and very little else can appear on the vinyl. This will most likely have occurred during packaging, or removing the record from the inner sleeve but obviously it had been handled with extreme care.Any flaw should be very hard to see. The cover should look as close to perfect with only minor signs of wear and/or age. Minor impressions to the cover (due to the outer edge of the vinyl resting inside) may be acceptable, however the artwork should be as close to perfect as can be.

Excellent

An excellent condition for vinyl will allow minor scuffs (Scuffs lay on top of the grooves) which are visible but only slightly. The wear should be minimal. The play should be close to perfect as well. Some impression to the cover (minor outer ring wear) but no ink wear. Some slight creases to the corners, but not wrinkled and obtrusive to the eye. The corners can show a little white, meaning slight wear. No seam splits or writing on the cover or taped repairs.

VG++

As Excellent but with a larger number of scuffs, maybe a couple of hairlines (very light scratch that can't be felt) or a couple of marks. Sound quality should still be very close to that of an Excellent record with only minor crackle in quiet segments only, NO scratches that can be felt. Cover as Excellent but there may be a small seam split on the cover, or a very minimal amount of writing like a name written in small writing or a number. A VG++ record should be an acceptable record to live with if you aren't looking to pay the price of a Near Mint copy.
