The Rolling Stones – “Get Yer Ya-Ya’s Out” original LP on Decca Records Stereo SKL 5065 from 1970, original 1st press on very heavy vinyl and the original “stereo” inner sleeve. This LP has always been kept in a protective cover, so the outer sleeve has no wear at all apart from the odd light handling crease, is very flat and has a perfect spine and has all of its new sheen on the laminated front and back, with no wear from going in and out of a rack. The top edge has started to become unstuck at the glue joint, as they all seem to do on early pressings of this LP, for no apparent reason other than insufficient glue was applied at the factory. Easily re-glued, and not a problem as there’s no damage. There is also a little “laminate lifting” near the spine, which has been there from new, and does not spoil the cover. The cover still easily grades EX+ and is very nice and fresh looking. No real issues at all, apart from the manufacture issues noted above, which don’t spoil the look of the cover. The Decca stereo inner sleeve appears as new and smells of 1970, if you go back that far, you’ll know what I mean. The smell of new vinyl!! Mmm! NM! The record has nice clean matt labels, a couple of light spindle traces, and is brilliant in every way, hard-to-read Decca matrix numbers in the run-out grooves! No scratches, scuffs or wear at all! This is the very first pressing from 1970, and I doubt that you could find a better copy. Oh, and it’s a great LP!! It really is almost NEW, with no issues or wear, in any department!! Minimal noise in the run in grooves, due to static and never being cleaned ever, and PERFECT audio! Full and clear! It has to be worth the opening bid of £25.00!!
