Description

Hi & hello, I have been in the music industry since 1970. I began working at Polydor Records UK at Stratford Place. London W1.the offices also included Atlantic UK & Elektra UK,
with Track 'recording artists' also incorporated under the 'Polydor' flag at that time.

I have worked as second studio engineer with  Polydor's producer Carlos Olms ( whose credits include Jimi Hendrix, Rory Gallagher, Level 42 to name only three )
I have worked in the studio with 'The Bee Gees'.
As a 'soundman' working with Colin Hannah, (credits USA & World Tours U2 & Sir Tom Jones et al )
sound crew/ roadie/recording & gigging musician, with 40 + years experience in the music industry.
The time has come to reduce my collection of 7'' & 12'' vinyls, programmes, autographs, promos, cds & other music related items. On offer is :

PLAY TEST GRADING
EXCELLENT -   plays with the expected background crackle. More audibly noticeable during run-ins/outs and during the quieter passages. Barely noticeable when the Stones start 'cooking it up & rocking the 'blues' as only they can do.
NO CLICKS NO JUMPS NO SKIPS
Excellent- minus, sounding audio in my opinion, which does not interfere with the overall listening experience.
It sounds just as good as  it did in '69 to my ears, when audio/fidelity was not so 'hi-brow' and people just 'got off' on the 'Stones' great music or 'not'
( this would also apply to 'The Jimi Hendrix Experience' & 'The Who' UK Track albums,& Atlantic's 'Led Zeppelin' )
There is a fair bit  of low frequency background crackle and the odd few crackles that would be expected with the grading.
Basically it still sounds great and 'hits the mark' if you love blues-rock based  r' n' & b'  music of which the 'Stones' are the undisputed masters. This being the 'greatest' album of its kind, for me. This album comes with the following instructions on the inner  'THIS RECORD SHOULD BE PLAYED LOUD' They are 'SPOT ON' .. do that and I believe you will enjoy this album - just as it is !
If you are a 'serious' collector / audiophile freak ( in the nicest context folks ) and you require/demand near perfect audio ( whatever that actually means ) by those standards this is not the copy for you so please do not purchase.
