Description

A fully complete first UK mono edition of Let It Bleed by The Rolling Stones on Decca from 1969.
The very early mono disc with first press 1A/2A matrices and 1/1 mother stampers is in EX condition - a gorgeous glossy black with only the lightest surface marks to note when examined under strong halogen lighting and certainly no feelable scratches. It plays brilliantly and vibrantly with no clicks and no jumps or skips, all the way through, both sides - it's a fabulous listen in mono. The unboxed red Decca mono labels are in great condition with no rips or writing and no sign of wear around the spindle holes. There are some tiny black flecks on one label (see photos) which could possibly be removed.
The very first issue mono inner lyric sleeve with uncensored text (London Bach Choir is blocked out on subsequent issues) is in fine unsplit condition with some general creasing.
The first press front laminated sleeve with pinched ends to spine and perfect mono/stereo peephole plus poster sticker is in fine VG+ condition - strong and sturdy with a little laminate lift near the spine and some light indentations. The poster remains in good condition with pinholes at each corner (see photos).
Good luck if you are bidding. I carefully package all rare vinyl with the disc removed from the sleeve to eliminate 'knifing' during transit. Please check out my other high quality original UK psych offerings.
