This is the genuine article, a real first pressing of this superb album and it is in absolutely stunning condition throughout.
The cover, with the "Full Colour Rolling Stones Poster Included" sticker to the front left, is in EX condition front and back with very mild wear either side.
To the front there are 7 small light creases on the spine, 3 even lighter creases to the openning, very mild ring wear and a light indented line running from under the drummer on the cake to the right hand edge. This line is only visible when the cover is held at an angle to the light and is invisible when the album is looked at straight on.
The back cover is very slightly faded and has very light ring wear.
The pictures give a good impression of the overall clean crisp feel the cover still retains.
The labels are a strong EX+ both sides with very, very light spindle marks immediately around the hole. There are NO "spiders legs" markings around the holes either side. This indicates that the record has been carefully placed on the spindle every time it has been played.
The vinyl is EX on side one with two light marks on the last track.
It is EX on side 2 with one light mark on the first track.
There are the odd very, very faint withdrawal marks either side.
Overall the record looks shiny and reflective, it is in simply fabulous visual condition.
I have played the record both sides, loudly, on a Marantz TT42 turntable through a Rotel RA-930AX amplifier and Eltax Liberty 3+ speakers.
Side one is crystal clear with the quiet bits on Love in Vain sounding fantastic and clean. The spaces between the songs are silent and WITHOUT the usual clicks and hisses that you would expect on a record of this age.
Side two has four LIGHT back ground pops, typical on a record of this age, 3/4 of the way through track one, Midnight Rambler. This does not detract from the track and does not spoil the sound quality. The rest of the side is a mirror of side one with a perfect play through.
The red MONO Rolling Stones inner sleeve is in EX condition with NO seam splitting. It has the blacking out of the London Bach Quior on the credits of You Can't Always Get What You Want!!
In supreme collectors condition, this album will take pride of place in someone's Stones collection.
No poster included.
I will mail this LP in plenty of bubble wrap and a strong carboard box so it gets to you in the condition it leaves me!
