CONDITION REPORT & PHOTO GALLERY AUDIO: Side 1 EX/EXCELLENT(-) - Side 2 VG/VERY GOOD(+); this has been play graded from start to finish and sounded great delivering a bright clear mono audio. A very crisp sound with no distortion at all. There is a touch of light background noise in places (which I find to be quite common on old mono LPs played on modern equipment) but it is light and does not distract at all from the listening pleasure. On the whole, side 1 played noticeably better.
I found that 'Let It Bleed' picked up quite a bit of static. There is a small light scratch across the end of 'Midnight Rambler', 'You Got The Silver' and the start of 'Monkey Man' which caused some light clicks, but these were not constant.  Other light clicks here and there but very few pops at all.
A very nice listen overall. The record is very clean indeed, but it is possible that the static may be reduced if it was given the benefit of a professional clean.
VINYL VISUAL: VG/VERY GOOD(+); the record is bright and clean and retains a wonderful shine. However, there are noticeable light scratches and the aforementioned feelable one on side 2. A few other superficial light marks + the usual wispy sleeve removal marks under bright light. Overall, it looks very nice and presentable.
LABELS: There are spindle tracing marks around the spindle hole, but otherwise the labels are bright and clean with no tears or writing. They look great.
STICKERED SLEEVE: EX+/NEAR MINT; the front laminated sleeve is of the clarifoil design whereby the laminate folds over the spine and onto the rear. It is a superb example. Bright and clean to the front with just the odd tiny laminate line here and there. The spine has just the lightest of wear with all text still clearly legible. A couple of tiny nicks to the rear bottom edge; but the rear in general shows just the lightest signs of age. Fantastic.
POSTER: NEAR MINT; the poster looks great and is completely unused. Just one very small crease line to the bottom left hand corner (see photos below). Superb.
INNER: The inner is made from very flimsy paper, but is a nice example. No splits or tears; just some creasing (see photos).

GRADING

Unless otherwise stated, all of my records have been play tested before listing using a Rega P3-24 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge & stylus. I describe honestly and accurately but please bear in mind that I am only human and such things are always subjective. I tend to grade records conservatively and believe that my feedback speaks for itself.

Please take confidence from the fact that I have been a collector myself for over 20 years (please check my feedback as a buyer) and know only too well how disappointing it is to receive an inaccurately described record.

I also grade visually using a strong halogen lamp.

I use the Record Collector grading system as shown below.

POSTAGE / SHIPPING

I post worldwide and pack all records in custom made (stiff) card mailers and add extra packaging inside to ensure a safe delivery. I will provide a protective polythene sleeve and the record and inner will be removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits in transit. I want your record to get to you in the condition that it was when it left me.

For any records that come with printed inner sleeves, I will also provide an additional plain inner.

As a general rule, shipping will be discounted ie. I lose money on the costs of buying my packaging. I do not profit from this; please remember that my costs are not simply those shown on the stamp!

Shipping rates quoted are valid up to a total sale value of £2500 within the UK and £500 for overseas buyers in the territories shown below:

Please send me a message if anything is unclear and I will be happy to help.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
