Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We pride ourselves on auctioning only the highest grade records and items, you will not see anything listed here below EX+ condition, unles the item is extremely rare. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.
We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.
We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status! Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... THE VINYL EX+ PLAYS ABSOLUTELY SUPERB
As you can see, this vinyl is the 1972 A3 B3 UK pressing with the MATT LABELS -Stored from new this LP has seen A HANDFUL OF PLAYS ONLY and remains in STUNNING condition everywhere.
This first pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.
THERE AREa couple of tiny spider lines around the centre hole...There are no marks or wear on thevinyl itself and it plays MAGNIFICENT..
The LP when we slid it from the inner had a few light dust flecs, where the LP has clearly sat without play for decades! Amazing.
There are a few light whisp lines and a couple of light hairlines only..the whole vinyl plays fantastic.
Some very light lead in static on the opening grooves, and the tiniest of incidental static on a few linking tracks.. We heard a couple of dust pops that will not sound next time, or after a professional hoover clean..but saying that, this vinyl really is stunning, clean and easily as good as we have ever seen.

Finding this sleeve without any damage and wear is almost impossible..but we have here A STUNNING TIME CAPSULE EXAMPLE.
This is in simply incredible condition, you will not see better than this we feel!
The edges are all super clean with no rub or wear at all
No powdery white ringwear or even ring press of any note.
The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition with not a hint of handling
no dinks or creasing anywhere.
The spine edge is superb with all legends perfectly readable,-ABSOLUTELY SQUARE AND MINT
WE CLARIFY BY SAYING, THIS SLEEVE IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS. PRISTINE!!
THE INNER SLEEVE MINT-
RARE THICK CARD INNER..NO DAMAGE AT ALL.
Vinyl inside further poly liner.
