TODAY (2/18) I HAVE PURCHASED ONE OF THE BEST VINYL COLLECTIONS I'VE EVER ACQUIRED - IT BELONGED TO A MAN WHO WORKED IN PROMOTION FOR ATLANTIC RECORDS IN LOS ANGELES FOR 20 YEARS FROM THE LATE 1960S THROUGH THE 1980s - THE COLLECTION CONTAINS ALL SORTS OF PROMOS, PROMO ONLY ITEMS, SEALED LPs, PICTURE DISCS, TEST PRESSINGS, AND AUDIOPHILE PRESSINGS - I'LL BE LISTING TWO ITEMS A DAY FROM THIS COLLECTION FOR A LONG TIME - KEEP WATCHING MY AUCTIONS FOR SOME OF THE BEST ROCK ITEMS I'VE EVER OFFERED!
This is a BRAND NEW SEALED 1978 U.S. ROLLING STONES RECORDS LP titled 'Some Girls' from The Rolling Stones, with its ORIGINAL BANNED INNER COVER with unauthorized photos of actresses which the Rolling Stones were sued over, and were forced to change the inner cover eliminating the offending photos. It is Rolling Stones Records U.S. catalog number COC 39108, with hype sticker affixed to the shrinkwrap near the upper left corner of the front cover. There is a small slit cut into the top edge near its left side, indicating a promo or a cutout copy.

Hype sticker has some dark discoloration and wear along its left side, with a small part of the top layer of paper worn away. Album lies perfectly flat on both sides with no indication of any bends or warps and no visible flaws outside of the above mentioned promo or cutout slit. This NEW SEALED LP WITH BANNED COVER would be a choice addition to any Rolling Stones or classic rock record collection! Media mail postage within the U.S. is $4.00.
