Description
Very Rare Original 1969 UK Decca Records Un-Played Mono Unboxed 1st Press (1A//1A Matrix) 'Let It Bleed' by The Rolling Stones!!! Mega Rare UK 1st Press Complete with Stickered 1st Press 'Pleated Spine' Upton Sleeve, Fold Out Poster and Rare Red Bordered 'Mono' Poly-Lined Inner Sleeve w/ Blacked Out Choir Credit!!! In Absolutely SENSATIONAL Vinyl Condition!!! You Will Not See Another Cleaner Crisper Mono 1st Press!!! A Beautiful Record and Very Highly Recommended!!!
Here is another gem from my own mostly Nr Mint personal collection (which I am selling off gradually to lessen the pain...) I have been collecting very rare vinyl for a long time now. As a collector, I have been very critical about the condition of the records I have chosen to buy over the years, and only selected the most pristine 1st pressings from all around the UK. My collection is therefore filled with not only the rarest UK 1st pressings, but also records of the highest grade quality condition, some of the best you will probably ever come across. Sadly, all will be finding new homes over the coming months. As I said, I am very strict with my grading, so when I describe a record as Nr Mint - you can rest assured that it will be a true Nr Mint record (I never grade any records as Mint because Mint does not exist in the world of vintage vinyl - in my opinion, as soon as the record has been taken home from the store it is no longer mint!!) I hope you enjoy my listings.
You are bidding on a Stunning ORIGINAL 1969 UK Un-Played Mono 1st Press of the classic 'Let It Bleed' by The Rolling Stones' on 1st Press unboxed Mono Decca Labels!!! This is a sensational record in every respect and one that it very hard to part with!!!! Seen by many as the Rolling Stones Greatest LP, finding a true UK Mono 1st press with the MEGA RARE stickered sleeve (the black sticker was used to advertise the poster inside but was only used on the very first few pressings), Original Poster and Original Red bordered 'Mono' Inner sleeve, in this condition is impossible today!!! This record is seen by many Rolling Stones fans - myself included, as the Holy Grail of all the UK unboxed Decca pressings!!! However, and here's the kicker - this vinyl is in absolutely SENSATIONAL UN-PLAYED Condition and is easily pushing Nr Mint!!! It is the best copy I have EVER seen bar none!!! The playing surfaces have the most stunning glass-like shine to them. YOu just never see playing surfaces like this on 1960's records today, let alone 1st press Un-boxed Decca Rolling Stones Albums which are always dull & worn & full of scratches. Further, the centre labels are stone cold Mint - without even a trace of a spindle line!!! It is one of the prettiest records Rolling Stones records you will ever see!!! This record has been archived in my personal collection for over 30 years now and will be very hard to part with. No amount of words do it justice so just take a look at the images for a while. I have tried as best as I can to capture the beauty of this record, from its unmarked Nr Mint labels to its deep glass-like sheen, but obviously photos only go so far... You have to trust me on this one when I say you will be hard pushed to find a better example of this awesome record anywhere... Please see the description below...

The 1st press UNBOXED Decca Records Mono labels are in stunning Pristine Nr MINT condition (most would describe them as mint - see top paragraph)! They have NO Tears, NO Peeling/Lifting, NO Scribbles, NO unwanted writing of any kind!!! Importantly there are NO spindle lines at all on either label!!! Further evidence that this record has never been played!!! The gramophone rims containing the all important 1st press matrix's are also mint!
The cool 1970's thick & chunky 1st press vinyl is in STUNNING visual and aural condition. This record has an unbelievable shine to it - it really looks as if it were pressed yesterday!!!! It has NO Groove wear at all and shines with that 'just pressed' glass-like sheen!! It is massively rare to find this LP in this kind of condition!!!! There are NO scratches and NO Hairlines and NO paperlines!!! It is very difficult to grade this record as it is stone cold Mint-, however there is a very small light rub at the beginning of side 1 which is more than likely a factory rub. It is very, very minor, but considering how close this record is to complete perfection it is worth mentioning. So to be ultra conservative I am giving it an Ex+++ grading, bear in mind that most on eBay would grade this as Mint, or at least Mint-!!! Please see my feedback to see that I am not in the business of over-grading my records.
The classic 1st Press front laminated James Upton sleeve is in superb EX+ condition!!!! You will NOT find another in this condition!!!! It has NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind!!! It is completely blemish free!!! The laminate is in stunning condition with just a light crease oin the top right corner. There is absolutely NO laminate Cracking, peeling or lifting!!! The 1st press 'pleated' spine is mint with mint legible spine text!!! The sleeve easily grades as EX+!!!
The Poster is superb and has never been hung!!! It has no grubbiness, NO pin holes and NO blue-tac marks etc. It is in clean and crisp with NO grubbiness and just a one or two of the faintest and lightest flat creases. The black sleeve sticker is also in lovely shape with no peeling or fading etc.
Of course, this record comes with its correct and original Red bordered Decca 'Mono' inner sleeve which is Mint-!!! These also always suffer from horrendous seam splitting and yellowing. They also always seem to turn up with at least one split seam (usually the bottom where the record has knifed through) This one is different - this is a stone cold Mint -Red Mono inner sleeve!!! It lies perfectly flat with no seam splits and no nasty creases!!! It retains all its vibrant whiteness in the central box and has none of the yellowing common with these inners!!! If I am ultra fussy, there is one tiny crease in the top right corner, very insignificant. A stunning example!!!
This really is a one off chance to own a superb example of this the scarce UK Mono 1st Press of this rare and absolutely classic LP in exceptional condition. Don't miss this one as copies like this NEVER show up in this condition anymore!!! Check out my feedback and bid with confidence as this is a no reserve auction with a very low starting price!

Postage ... Hazey Jane has absolutely NO hidden surcharges; the price you win is the price you pay, just add the relevant postage, it's as simple as that! We always combine postage so if you win more than 1 auction you save money on postage costs! We will only ship to non-UK countries via Airmail - we do not use surface mail, it is way too slow and thus increases the risk of records being damaged during transit.
A little note about insurance - Please read carefully... If the value of your record(s) is over £30, your invoice will include an insured option. Being the responsible adults you are, it is entirely up to you to take this up - we strongly advise you to do this but will not hassle you about it. You either add the required insurance or you don't. If you do add the required insurance and your record is lost/damaged, you will get a refund. If you don't add the required insurance and your record is lost/damaged, you will not get a refund. Can we be any clearer? I think not.

Refunds & Feedback ... Please read this carefully ... We try to give you the best quality examples of rare records available. However, there will always be somebody out there whose expectations far exceed UK record collector grading standards. If you are in anyway unsatisfied with your record or our grading of it please refer to the UK Record Collector Grading Chart very carefully BEFORE emailing us. We strictly adhere to it and will only offer refunds (minus the postage AND our eBay costs) if we are satisfied that we have fallen below UK record collector grading standards. This will very rarely, if ever, happen. We will not be impressed with buyers disputing our gradings without even bothering to check the UK record collector grading standards chart first - you have been warned ...
Buyers who continually Haggle, Whine and Moan to try to decrease the price they won their auctions for will be blocked from bidding on future auctions and can toodle off down to HMV or Virgin where they can harass the counter staff there.
We will always leave feedback upon receipt of feedback. In an ideal world we would like to leave feedback as soon as the record has been shipped but due to feedback blackmail in the past (i,e, ",,,I want a partial refund or I will leave negative feedback") we have opted to take this measure. Contact must be made within 3 days of winning the auction. If payment has not been received after 10 days a non paying bidder alert will be placed. If payment is then not received within 7 days Negative feedback WILL be left and the buyer WILL be given a strike by eBay. Thanks for reading.
