Description
ROLLONG STONES No 2 Released in 1965 on Decca no LK 4661. This is in mono and is the unboxed red label. The matrix no on the run out of each side is XARL-6619-1A and XARL-6620-2A. This looks like the first iisue or if not, an extremely early one. The vinyl is shiny and has some really faint surface marks on both sides but these can only be seen when held under a light. The records plays really well and has a great sound. There is some crackle in the pressing at the start but this soon goes and there is no background noise when played on my stereo. The record is in the original paper/plastic inner protective sleeve - much better than the paper ones. The sleeve has the laminated front and is the non flipback version. There are no tears or stains but there is some slight creasing on the front where the sleeve has been opened to get the record out. There is also some minor ring wear on both sides. A mint or perfect copy this isn't but it's a damn good copy that sounds great. Looks like a first issue, too, unless some expert out there knows more...........
