Issue : UK Mono Boxed Press
This is the UK Mono press of No.2 by The Rolling Stones. This boxed Decca press has the 2A//2A matrix, the heavy early vinyl and the original plain inner sleeve. The vinyl is complete with the correct repressed, non flipback laminated sleeve, with the removal of the 'blind man' text.
The vinyl is in Very Good condition. Both sides have a superb gloss. There is a mark on the first couple of tracks and a couple of other faint small marks. The red Decca labels are exceptionally bright and completely clean. The colour is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is only slight spindle wear.
The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is rich and clear. There are a couple of clicks on the mark otherwise the sound is superb, bold and vibrant.
The sleeve is in Excellent condition. The colours are warm and bright, the image is sharp and the laminate is glossy. There is a little ring wear and just the very slightest corner wear. The rear of the sleeve is also extremely clean and bright. The spine is very firm with sharp text and the whole sleeve is solid.
