Description
ROLLING STONES: No. 2, UK Decca 1964 1st pressing MONO LP, LK 4661. This is the extremely rare 'Blind Man Paste Over' cover, which is probably the rarest early version. The original 'Blind Man cover' was censored very early on and pasted over with a corrected back slick. So this is the orginal 1st issue cover with the 'correction' paste over on back. 2A, 2A matrixes. Comes with a 12/64 dated inner.
VINYL is exceptional MINT-, played once or twice. Impossible like this. COVER is EXCELLENT, really nice, aside form the laminate-lifting seen in the left part of cover near spine. Back cover is very white & unworn, but has a small spot in lower left corner with some rub wear. INNER is EXCELLENT, no splits, but yellowed. Superbly preserved copy here, now 53 years old! To get quote for a single item, use shipping calculator. All items or combined totals over 50 GBP will have the additional charge of 8 GBP to cover Tracking. The 8 comes on top of the basic charge.
You will save shipping cost on Multiple items, of course. Wait for invoice and you'll see the combined shipping price. You will NEVER pay more than my actual cost.
PACKING
Special german-made cruciform-mailers designed for multiple LPs are used, even for single LP packages. The boxes are oversized and thus provide extra corner protection as well as great stiffness to the package. Addtional protection may also be used when found nessesary, such as stiffeners, bubble-wrap, extra corner-protection. I do not charge anything for packing materials.
GRADINGS
MINT(-) is as close to new as a used LP or cover can get, unplayed or played 1-2 times at most with no visual sings of use on surfaces.
MINT- is superb, almost like new. No marks, scratches, clicks, noise, or anything else, aside from possibly a barely visible and inaudible hairline or two. All minor blemishes will be mentioned in the individual descriptions.
EX or EXCELLENT is also VERY nice, 2-3 light inaudible marks/hairlines perhaps, no disturbing noise, great sound quality.
Lower gradings not relevant here...
