Description
Rolling Stones MFSL Box Set, 11 LP's, Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs. The records are all in near mint condition. The sleeves all have MFSL cardboard and inner sleeves. There is slight wear on the out side spin of some lps, but it's minimal (see all pictures). They look like they have never been played. The box is in very good condition. It comes with the booklet of the album covers which includes the lenticular 3-D picture from Their Satanic Majesties Request (look for the heads of John, Paul, George & Ringo in the flowers), the GEO Disk, and the Certificate of Authenticity. The envelop for the certificate was opened rather crudely, but is in tact. The box is #0743 out of a production run of 10,000. These are the UK Decca lps and they include: The Rolling Stones - mono

The original master Rolling Stones tapes, from which the music was transferred, were meticulously tracked-down by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab in both England and America. Altogether, more than 60 boxes of recording tapes were examined and auditioned, until the genuine original masters were discovered. The first three albums ("The Rolling Stones", "12x5", and "Out Of Our Heads") were originally recorded in the mono format, while the next six albums were recorded in true stereo. So, the original (British) Decca master recording tapes, except for "12x5" and "Out Of Our Heads", which were originally recorded in America and first released by London Records.
