Description

ROLLING STONES ''THEIR SATANIC MAJESTEIS REQUEST'' UNBOXED DECCA LABELS!!(MONO) MEGA RARE! 1ST UK PRESSING (THE ONLY WAY TO HEAR THIS PRESSING IN MONO) IN MY OPINION LOOKS BARELY PLAYED! SOUNDS AWESOME ON MY SYSTEM WITH MINIMAL INTERFEARANCE!! GREAT COLLECTABLE AND EXTREEMELY ENJOYABLE 2K AND 3K MATRIX! ORIGINAL ROBERT STACE 3D GATEFOLD COVER!!

''1'' TO ''1'' MOTHER STAMPERS (The earliest ever produce the best audio quality)!

Here on offer from my personal collection! This is listed for its rarety rather than for its condition! Mega rare to find (mono) is UK pressing! 1967! There is general light ware and tare but the audio is in general cristal clear and vibrant throughout with very minimal interfearance. Amaizingly (no) distortion or signs that this has been overplayed! In my opinion due to the fact that there are not so many spider marks and that the audio is clear that this has not been overplayed at all!!!!

Their Satanic Majesties Request is a psychedelic rock album by The Rolling Stones recorded and released in 1967. Its title is a play on the "Her Britannic Majesty requests and requires..." text that appears inside a British passport!!

Without a doubt, no Rolling Stones album — and, indeed, very few rock albums from any era — split critical opinion as much as the Rolling Stones' psychedelic outing. Many dismiss the record as sub-Sgt. Pepper posturing; others confess, if only in private, to a fascination with the album's inventive arrangements, which incorporated some African rhythms, Mellotrons, and full orchestration. Never before or since did the Stones take so many chances in the studio!!  It's a much better record than most people give it credit for being, though, with a strong current of creeping uneasiness that undercuts the gaudy psychedelic flourishes. In 1968, the Stones would go back to the basics, and never wander down these paths again, making this all the more of a fascinating anomaly in the group's discography.!!!

Begun just after Between the Buttons had been released, the recording of Their Satanic Majesties Request was long and sporadic, broken up by court appearances and jail terms. Starting with this release, non-compilation albums from the band would be released in uniform editions across international markets.!.

The vinyl

This is of coarse the thick heavy type of vinyl only found on the earliest 1st pressings! The vinyl retains its original sheen from new and lies perfectly flat on the turntable! In strong light there are surface marks\scratches\scuffs that can be seen! Amaizingly after playing this vinyl through track for track at very loud volume on a top system, I found this audio quite awesome through out! Very minimal ticks clicks or pops i only heard during two or three tracks only at the intro or during quiet places only! There was no signs of distortion and certainly no skips or jumps! In my personal opinion these light ticks\pops were not so intrusive as to spoil the overall awesome experiance of the play of this vinyl! Please note these are often played to death and suffer from major grooveware but not this one!!!!In my opinion very very playable and enjoyable with minimal interfearance!
