Shipping within the US is set at $4.00 per package.  Therefore, if you buy one album, 2 albums, 10 albums or 20 albums, the shipping is $4.00.  I can fit up to about 25 single LP albums into my larger shipping box. 

This item is a rare LP from the Rolling Stones.  It is a beautiful pressing of the legendary Some Girls LP, released in 1978 on Rolling Stones Records.  This is my favorite Stones album of all-time, and to my way of thinking really defines the band from start to finish.  Note that this is the original pressing of the album, with the later withdrawn cover.  This one has an interesting story to go along with it.  The album art features a generic wig ad from the 50’s – 60’s on the cover, with the song titles added in.  Interspersed where the models’ heads would be are die-cut openings showing the printed inner sleeve underneath, with photos strategically placed to show through.  On this, the original pressing, the inner sleeve contained the photos of a number of popular entertainment icons – Lucille Ball, Farrah Fawcett, Marilyn Monroe, Racquel Welch, Judy Garland, Liza Minelli and others – as well as hand-tinted and doctored photos of the band members.  But, somehow – and it is very hard for me to ever believe it was merely a naïve and unintended oversight – the band had not obtained licenses from these various people or their estates to use the photos for the cover.  A legal uproar ensued, and all of the subsequent pressings – including the re-issue from the past several weeks -- came out with a “Cover Under Reconstruction” inner sleeve with the offending photos deleted.  This version of the cover is really hard to find now in this condition, and a great Stones collectible.  This pressing is still in its original plastic shrink, and still has the original track-listing promo sticker touting “Miss You” as shown in the photo.

The vinyl is in excellent condition.  The cover is in excellent to near-mint condition, as shown in the photo.

NOTE:  Whenever the listed album is a sealed album, it is collectible and has a substantial part of its value because it is sealed.  I cannot assess the record inside for that reason, and so the purchase of every sealed album is "as-is".  Since I do not own a store, I cannot return items to the manufacturer.  Therefore, once an album is opened, I cannot refund the purchase price in full because opening significantly affects its value.  

NOTE TO ALL BUYERS OUTSIDE OF THE US:  Pursuant to Paypal Seller Protection Policy sections 11.3 and 11.4, EVERY item paid for by Paypal MUST be sent via PRIORITY INTERNATIONAL MAIL.  PLEASE NOTE THAT BIDDING ON THIS ITEM IS ACCEPTANCE OF THIS REQUIREMENT.  In addition, the USPS has recently increased their rates yet again.  If you need the cost of postage for any item, please send me a message through My eBay, or go to the Postal Service's website.  Multi-album LP sets weigh more and, consequently cost more.  I will always combine postage, since combining multiple albums saves money.

I am not a dealer, and all of the items I place up for auction are from my personal collection gathered over the past forty-plus years.  I am selling my collection little by little, to pay for college expenses for my two kids, in my spare time.  Shipping within the US is $4.00 per package, via media mail, regardless of the number of records up to 25.  If you want Priority shipping within the U.S., the cost is a function of weight and postal zone.  Send me a note at the conclusion of the auction, and I will send an invoice indicating the cost of priority (I can also provide this info while the auction is pending, if you e-mail me your zip code and the number of LPs).  Insurance through the USPS is available, and once again send me a note requesting that insurance be included in the invoice

PLEASE NOTE: Media mail does not have online tracking.  The USPS offers delivery confirmation with online tracking.  If you want online tracking with delivery confirmation, please let me know and I will send an invoice including the cost for delivery confirmation, which is currently $0.90.
