Shipping within the US is set at $4.00 per package.  Therefore, if you buy one album, 2 albums, 10 albums or 20 albums, the shipping is $4.00.  I can fit up to about 25 single LP albums into my larger shipping box. 

This item is a rare LP from the Rolling Stones.  It is a beautiful pressing of the legendary Some Girls LP, released in 1978 on Rolling Stones Records.  This is my favorite Stones album of all-time, and to my way of thinking really defines the band from start to finish.  This one has an interesting story to go along with it.  It features a generic wig ad from the 50’s – 60’s on the cover, with the song titles added in.  Interspersed where the models’ heads would be are die-cut openings showing the printed inner sleeve underneath, with photos strategically placed to show through.  On this, the original pressing, the inner sleeve contained the photos of a number of popular entertainment icons – Lucille Ball, Farrah Fawcett, Marilyn Monroe, Racquel Welch, Judy Garland, Liza Minelli and others – as well as hand-tinted and doctored photos of the band members.  But, somehow – and it is very hard for me to ever believe it was merely a naïve and unintended oversight – the band had not obtained licenses from these various people or their estates to use the photos for the cover.  A legal uproar ensued, and all of the subsequent pressings came out with a “Cover Under Reconstruction” inner sleeve with the offending photos deleted.  This version of the cover is really hard to find now in this condition, and a great Stones collectible. 

The vinyl is in excellent condition.  The cover is in near-mint condition, as shown in the photo.                                                                                                                                                  

NOTE TO ALL BUYERS OUTSIDE OF THE US:  Pursuant to Paypal Seller Protection Policy sections 11.3 and 11.4, EVERY item paid for by Paypal MUST be sent via PRIORITY INTERNATIONAL MAIL.  PLEASE NOTE THAT BIDDING ON THIS ITEM IS ACCEPTANCE OF THIS REQUIREMENT.  The fact that other sellers may send items by First Class International -- and put themselves at risk for claims -- is immaterial.  In addition, the USPS just increased their rates.  To Canada, the cost for 1 single LP is $22.75USD.  To Europe, the cost for 1 single LP is $30.75USD.  Multi-album LP sets cost more, so if you have any question at all about postage, please e-mail me before the auction ends (but please give me enough time to respond).  Other countries will be about the same as to Europe.  Combining multiple albums saves money, and I can send you the shipping costs upon request BEFORE YOU BID.  I recognize that this results in very high shipping costs, but it is of no benefit to me because the money is paid to the USPS for postage.  If you think this policy is unfair, contact Paypal -- I'm only following their rules.  If you have any questions about my shipping policy or costs, please send me an e-mail via My eBay.

I am not a dealer, and all of the items I place up for auction are from my personal collection gathered over the past forty-plus years.  I am selling my collection little by little to pay for college expenses for my two kids, in my spare time. 

Shipping within the US is $4.00 per package, via media mail, regardless of the number of records up to 25.  If you want Priority shipping within the U.S., the cost is a function of weight and postal zone, and I will e-mail an invoice indicating the cost of priority (I can also provide this info while the auction is pending, if you e-mail me your zip code and the number of LPs). 

Insurance through the USPS is available, and once again my invoice will provide the cost information.  

NOTE:  Sealed items are collectible because they are sealed.  Since I do not own a store, I cannot return items to the manufacturer.  Once opened, I cannot refund the purchase price in full because opening significantly affects its value. 

NOTE: Media mail does not have tracking.  The USPS offers delivery confirmation with online tracking.  If you want online tracking with delivery confirmation,  ability, you must purchase delivery confirmation for $0.75.
