Here on offer, is probably one of the best copies that I have seen and offered on ebay. Not only that the audio is very near as perfect as it gets in my opinion! A very very rare original 38 year old Rolling Stones album in truly exceptional condition! So hard to ever find like this! The cover has been carefully stored seperately from the vinyl for protection this is how i have always stored my records! So often these are seen with damaged vinyls due to the nature of these original zip covers! I should know I have seen many like this! A very rare collectable and very sought after copy complete with original lyric insert as new condition! Try to find a better copy! Absolutely stunning audio seperation on all frequencies will be so hard to surpass, Please look at my completed listings of records that I have sold of this calaber and you will see that I normally get it right!! very near archive copy!!!

Sticky Fingers is an album by The Rolling Stones and was released in 1971. It is notable for being the band's first release on their newly-formed Rolling Stones Records label after having been contracted since 1963 with Decca Records in the UK and London Records in the US. It is also Mick Taylor's first full-length appearance on a Rolling Stones album.!!!!

Although sessions for Sticky Fingers began in earnest in March 1970, they had done some early recording at Muscle Shoals Studios in Alabama in December 1969 and "Sister Morphine", cut during Let It Bleed's sessions earlier in March of that year, would be heldover for this release. Much of the recording for Sticky Fingers was effected with The Rolling Stones' mobile studio unit in Stargroves during the summer and fall months in 1970. Early versions of songs that would appear on Exile on Main ST. were also routined during these sessions!!!!!.

Sticky Fingers may just be the band's most drug-drenched album, as well over half of the songs mention drug use, while the rest merely alludes to it. Some final overdubbing and mixing in January 1971, found the album complete and preceded by "Brown Sugar" that March, which reached #1 in the US and #2 in the UK. Appearing in April on their new Rolling Stones label (with distribution by WEA Music), Sticky Fingers was rapturously-received and hit #1 worldwide, beginning an uninterrupted string of eight consecutive chart-topping US studio albums. "Wild Horses", covered by Keith Richards friend Gram Parsons with The Flying Burrito Brothers, was the second single in the US only, making the Top 30!!!!!!.

The Vinyl

There is only one word for this original heavy thick and chunky slab of vinyl and this is 'stunning'! Even in strong light I can  barely see a blemish! Any marks that could possibly be seen would be sleeve removal only (to be honest it is hard to see any! Unbeleivable for a 37 year old vinyl) The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable! It is quite obvious that this has barely been played or has had very minimal play ever!

The Audio Quality

I have played this through track for track at loud volume on a top system! The audio is as good as it gets in my opinion,, absolutely perfect on all frequencies! (no) clicks or pops and certainly no skips or jumps the audio is graded as near mint!!! Stunning audio seperation! Any who know this album would appreciate how hard it is to find a good playable copy without intrfearance. These are mega rare to find often with annoying background noise. This played near perfect on my systems even in between tracks. This plays as good as it gets in my opinion! 

Please note! I always add this disclaimer! Please allow for the odd light static (not) consistant throughout the audio! Please remember that this is a genuine 38 year old vinyl that would have originally been played on a 38 year old system.

Important note! A constant clean before each play is recomended! This has been stored for at least 35 years in a case laying dormant! A constant clean before each play wil reduce any static and will enhance the ausdio quality!! This audio is the best that I have heard of this pressing! Please look at my completed listings of records that I have sold of this calaber and you will see that i normally get it right!!!

The Labels

Feature the original custom ''Rolling Stones Records'' labels are awesome almost as new! bare minimal spidering can only be seen angled to the light!! The spindle hole is perfectly round!!! 

The record sleeve

This is the original plain white paper cover as new condition! The UK patent nos are printed on one side!! (no) splits or tares and no staining with age!!

The insert

This is as new!!! Perfect!

The Cover

This original 38 year old zip cover is in mega rare exceptional condition! features the Andy Warhol picture hidden inside the cover (only earliest press) there is (no) splits or tares and amaizingly (no) real rubbing (very very rarte like this) only at the rear can i see very minor scuff mark (only noticable if looked for angled to the light) all writing is fully readable also at the spine. The zip is complete but stiff with age! This mega rarety must grade at least excellent plus!!!
