Since eBay is now charging for shipping costs, I have decided to now offer free shipping for all purchases. Please note that I still must charge for international shipping -- please see the note below.

This item is a very nice vinyl LP pressing of the legendary Sticky Fingers album from the Rolling Stones. Mick and the Boys always like to shock and, with this album, they had the rare opportunity to do it twice. The original cover, as it was on the Iberian Peninsula release, shows severed female fingers floating in a can of treacle. Akin to the infamous “butcher” cover by the Beatles, this just would not do for the American market. And, so, we here in the US received the front and back crotch shot with working zipper, which arguably may be even more offensive. You know what they say – be careful what you ask for, because you may get it. I doubt that a band could get away with such a cover these days. This is an early- to mid-70’s pressing of the album with the working, real zipper cover and inner sleeve with the large lips logo.

The vinyl is in excellent condition. The cover is likewise in excellent condition, as shown in the photo.

The fact that other sellers may send items by First Class International -- and put themselves at risk for claims -- is immaterial. In addition, the USPS just increased their rates. To Canada, the cost for 1 single LP is $22.75USD. To Europe, the cost for 1 single LP is $30.75USD. Multi-album LP sets cost more, so if you have any question at all about postage, please e-mail me before the auction ends (but please give me enough time to respond). Other countries will be about the same as to Europe. Combining multiple albums saves money, and I can send you the shipping costs upon request BEFORE YOU BID. I recognize that this results in very high shipping costs, but it is of no benefit to me because the money is paid to the USPS for postage. I do not use stock photos. The photo shows the actual item up for auction.

I am not a dealer, and all of the items I place up for auction are from my personal collection gathered over the past forty-plus years. I am selling my collection little by little to pay for college expenses for my two kids, in my spare time.

Shipping within the US is free, via media mail. If you want Priority shipping within the U.S., the cost is a function of weight and postal zone, and I will e-mail an invoice indicating the cost of priority (I can also provide this info while the auction is pending, if you e-mail me your zip code and the number of LPs).

Insurance through the USPS is available, and once again my invoice will provide the cost information.

NOTE: Sealed items are collectible because they are sealed. Since I do not own a store, I cannot return items to the manufacturer. Once opened, I cannot refund the purchase price in full because opening significantly affects its value.

NOTE: Media mail does not have tracking. The USPS offers delivery confirmation with online tracking. If you want online tracking with delivery confirmation, ability, you must purchase delivery confirmation for $0.75.

International Buyers – Please Note:
